Forward a message
- Hover over the message you want to forward
- Click the more actions menu
- Select Forward
- Choose the destination — a channel, group chat, or direct message
- Click Send
What can you forward
- Text messages — Forward any text message
- Images — Forward shared images to other conversations
- Files — Forward document and file attachments
- Code snippets — Forward shared code snippets
Forwarded message indicator
Forwarded messages are marked with a “Forwarded” label so recipients know the message originated from another conversation.
Forward to multiple destinations
You can forward the same message to multiple channels or conversations by repeating the forward action for each destination.
