Workly lets you start instant meetings and send quick messages from anywhere in the app, without navigating away from your current page.
Quick meeting
Start an instant video or voice call:
- Click the Quick Meeting button in the header
- Set a meeting title (optional)
- Add participants by searching for team members
- Choose meeting type — video or voice
- Click Start to begin immediately
Participants receive a notification and can join the call instantly. You can also invite external participants via a public link.
Quick message
Send a message to anyone without leaving your current page:
- Click the Quick Message option
- Select a person or channel
- Type your message
- Press Send
The message is sent without interrupting your workflow.
Call from chat
You can also start a call directly from any chat conversation:
- Click the video call icon for a video call
- Click the phone icon for a voice call
The call starts immediately in the context of that conversation.
