The Workly sidebar is your main navigation hub. It gives you quick access to every section of the app.
Sidebar sections
- Dashboard — Your personalised overview of tasks, projects, and team activity
- Chat — All your conversations — channels, direct messages, and group chats
- Tasks — Your projects and task management views
- Meetings — Scheduled and past meetings
- Agents — AI agents and integrations
Project list
Your projects appear in the sidebar under the Tasks section. Click any project to open it. Recently viewed projects appear at the top for quick access.
Collapse and expand
The sidebar is collapsible — toggle it to give more space to your content area. The sidebar state is remembered per section (Dashboard, Chat, Tasks, etc.) so you can have it expanded in Tasks but collapsed in Chat.
App header
The top header bar provides:
- Global search — Search across your entire workspace
- Notification bell — View and manage notifications
- Quick meeting — Start an instant meeting
- Workly AI — Open the AI chat assistant
- User avatar — Access profile, preferences, and logout
Workspace switcher
Click the workspace name in the sidebar to switch between workspaces or create a new one. Each workspace maintains its own state — your position and view preferences are remembered.
