Add the right people to a Physical Meeting in Workly — internal teammates and external email addresses both work, and external attendees automatically receive the Minutes of Meeting (MOM) by email after the call ends.
Add internal attendees
- In the Physical Meeting dialog, click into the Attendees field
- Start typing a teammate’s name
- Pick them from the dropdown
Each attendee shows as a removable chip. Add as many as you need.
Add external attendees by email
- Type a full email address into the Attendees field
- Press Enter, comma, or click the “Add ‘email‘” action
External attendees are marked with the hint “External attendee — will receive MOM email” so you know they’ll be sent the minutes after the meeting.
Remove an attendee
Click the X on any chip to remove that attendee. You can also press Backspace with the cursor in the Attendees field to remove the last attendee.
Internal vs external — what’s different
- Internal teammates show up with their avatar and Workly profile. They appear on the meeting detail page after the call.
- External emails receive the AI-generated MOM by email after the meeting ends. They don’t need a Workly account.
Important to know
- Physical meetings are solo recording sessions — attendees aren’t joining a video call. They’re listed for reference, MOM distribution, and action item assignment.
- Workly does not currently track attendance or RSVPs for physical meetings
- You can mention attendees later when assigning action items in the meeting summary

How do I add attendees to a physical meeting?
